Colin Powell Students and Staff wanted to show their appreciation to Officer Joe on Law Enforcement Appreciation Day, especially after the Second Grade learned about Service Helpers in Social Studies. These students wrote Thank You messages to Officer Joe for keeping them safe and helping out at Colin Powell.
Officer Joe was presented with a small gift of appreciation. To honor family members of Law Enforcement M&M's were distributed to them as Colin Powell's School way of saying Thank You for your service.
