Our mission is to develop young individuals with active and creative minds to instill a sense of understanding and compassion for others and the courage to act on their beliefs demonstrating leadership. We recognize that each child is an individual; that all children are creative; that all children need to succeed. Therefore, Colin Powell Elementary School respects the individual needs of children, fosters a caring and creative environment and emphasizes the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual development of each child. Through a variety of learning resources available in a 21st century classroom, students will be engaged in practice experiences that promote rigor and relevance.
