I am extremely excited to start off the 2019-2020 school year! I look forward to creating new and lasting memories for your child. Physical Activity is an essential part of a childs growth, development, and general well-being.
Mission Statement:
My mission in Physical Education is to provide students with a safe, supportive, and caring environment where students will achieve success. While creating a strong foundation for lifelong physical activity for a healthy, productive and fulfilling life. Providing students with challenging games at a young age will encourage them to stay physically active as adults.
In my Physical Education program students will have the opportunity to interact with their classmates, exercise and experience new sports activities. Colin Powell Elementary children will also be learning life long character traits such as teamwork, sportsmanship, cooperation, encouragement, kindness, responsibility and respect for others. Furthermore, The children of Colin Powell Elementary School will acquire appropriate knowledge, understanding and skills necessary for healthy daily living.
