Week 10: ELA/Social Studies

This week students will receive the novel, The Courage of Sarah Noble. Students will be reading and completing activities for this novel for the next 4 weeks in class. After 4 weeks students will return to the SAVVAS My View stories with one story a week with weekly words of the week.

This week in English Language Arts the students will focus on chapters 1-4 in the novel. Students received a chapters 1-4 vocabulary words sheet to study throughout the week. The vocabulary words are posted as a slideshow for each chapter on Schoology as well.  Homework will include rereading the chapter read in class and work on an ongoing vocabulary sheet found in his/her Take Home Folder each day. Students will turn in the vocabulary sheet on Monday, November 21, 2022. In addition, for Social Studies please continue to review Our Environment, Ch.1 Lessons 1-4 in My World.
