Ms. Cartas' Third Grade Class

Hello my name is Ms. Amie Cartas. I am the proud product of the Union City School system. This will be my third year teaching in Colin Powell Elementary. I have a B.A. degree in Psychology, as well as a M.A. degree in Education from Fairleigh Dickinson University. I am certified in P-3 and Special Education/Teacher of Students with Disabilities and am in the process of receiving my English as a Second Language certification. I believe that positive teacher/parent communication is essential in any child's success. I look forward to working with your child to enhance their love for learning!
